Yu Yuan
It is located in Shanghai and built at beginning in Ming dynasty.Afterward,the
construction was extended in succession.The pavilion and buildings in the garden is
confused with error and omission;its winding pavilion surrounded and exotic peak and rare
stone are standing upright as well as the famous flowers and ancient wood is competed with
each other for fascination.Therefore,the name of the metropolitan gardening is gainde.The
main building in the garden is "Sansui Tang" which is graceful and
magnificent,momentum with a tremendous.Under the east foot of the big rockery is a
symbolic ship's hall--Yifang(As same as boat).The east part in the garden is "Hexu
Tang".The center part is "Yuhua Tang" facing stony peak of exquisite jade
which is one of three famous stones in the south of Yangtse river.The east-south side of
"Yu Yuan"is inner garden which build in Qing dynasty,having become a
exquisite,and an independent garden of the garden.The main hall within inner garden is
"Jiangguan Ting",and the west part is "Guantao Lou".The halls and
court-yard in Yu Yuan,are either garandeur,or magnificent,classical,and or sagacious
respectively,and indeed,it is to compete with each other for beauty of looks and each has
its own garceful bearing.It is a unified entity that combine the outside flower and wood
with inside furniture and horizoned inscribed board,couplet,as the people said that
feeling and setting happily blended.
