Once Wu-k'ung had learned these skills,the Master encouraged him to return to his own land.But Wu-k'ung said,"I cannot return until I have paid my debt of gratitude to you for your many years of guidance."The Master answered,"I do not need your thanks.I simply wish that you never use your new knowledge to make trouble."
