On the way to the office,Lin Ch'ung said to the two messengers,"I have never met you two before."They answered,"We are new recruits."Soon they arrived at Kao Ch'iu's office and entered the front hall.The messengers said to Lin Ch'ung,"Marshal Kao Ch'iu is waiting for you in the rear hall."Then they guided Lin Ch'ung past three entrances and stopped before a screen.They asked Lin Ch'ung to wait and then they disappeared.
