Lu Chih-shen made them rest early in the evening and set off late every morning.The two guards had to work as cooks and servants at each stop.One night Tung Ch'ao said to Hsueh Pa, "We are completely under the monk's control now.If Marshal Kao Ch'iu finds out,he will surely punish us." Hsueh Pa said," I have heard that in the vegetable garden beside the temple in Tung Chin city,there is a new monk called Lu Chih-shen.This monk must be Lu Chih-shen.When I get back,I will tell Lu Ch'ien to find the monk himself."
