After a while,Pao-yu could wait no longer,so he stepped forward and removed the veil.He opened his eyes wide and looked at his bride-she appeared to be Pao-ch'ai.Pao-yu was stupefied.He asked Hsi-jen,"Where is Miss Lin?"Hsi-jen answered,"It was your father's decision that you marry Miss Pao-ch'ai."Pao-yu insisted on looking for Miss Lin.The Lady Dowager tried every way possible to pacify him,but Pao-yu would not listen.
