Scholar Chang wrote a letter and handed it to the Old Lady,saying,"I have a sworn brother named Tu Ch'ueh or General White Horse.He is now the Commander-in-Chief of an army of one hundred thousand soldiers garrisoning a strategic pass called P'ukuan.I am certain that he will come to our rescue with his army after he reads the letter."
