All these activities paved the way for Chang I to meet with King Huai.He listed the numerous advantages of withdrawing from the alliance with Ch'i and joining with Ch'in. At last, he said:"The King of Ch'in is ready to present to Ch'u more than 100 square miles' territory as a gift."
