*0.75 lb. (340 g) ground beef
or pork
*1 T. each wine, soy sauce
*dash of pepper
*sesame oil as desired
*0.25 t. salt, 2 T. cornstarch
*0.5 c. mashed bean curd or 1
egg
*0.25 c. chopped onion
*1.25 T. oyster sauce or soy
sauce
*1 t. sugar, 0.5 T. cornstarch
*0.5 c. chicken stock or water
Method:
1. Mix meat with wine, soy
sauce, dash of pepper, salt
and cornstarch; stir until
sticky. Add bean curd and
onion; stir until mixed
well. Makes 8 meat patties.
2. Heat 2 T. oil. Fry 4 patties
over medium heat about 2
minutes; turn patties over
and continue to fry 2
minutes or until golden
brown and cooked. Follow
the same procedures to fry
the other 4 patties. Bring
oyster sauce, soy sauce,
cornstarch and water to
a boil, then pour over
patties. May be served
with "Boiled Lettuce".
