Mengyang by style name,Songyuan, Ji'an by sobriquets, a native of Xiuning,AnHui province,was a painter of the Ming dynasty. He lived in Jiading,skilled in painting landscapes,following the style of Huang Gongwang and Ni Zan, in a wild and natural taste. He was gifted in poetry,too.
