A native of Laiyang,ShanDong province,was a painter of the Ming dynasty.His original second name was Dan,style name was Kaiyu,then he changed his second name to Zizhong and style name to Daomu,Qingying by sobriquet.He lived in Beijing,then went on a strike to dry after Li Zicheng captured Beijing.He excelled in painting human figures,following the style of Zhou Wenju,indicating the tense and heightened state.He was prominent at that time,called "Chen in South and Cui in North",together with Chen Hongshou.
