A native of Shaoxing,ZheJiang province, Wenchang by style name,and Tianchi shanren,Qingteng jushi by sobriquets,was a painter of the Qing dynasty.He excelled in poetry and classical prose,and gifted in the semicursive script after the style of Mi Fu.He became a precursor of the flowering plant and miscellaneous painting of the Qing dynasty with his entirely unrestrained manner that abandoned tradition.
