A native of Qiantang, ZheJiang province,was a painter of the Qing dynasty. His style name was Chunshi and Luchuang, Yu'an, Songping, Chunxi, Jingdong Buddhist etc. were his sobriquets. He was talented in painting landscapes, following Wang Hui and also studied from various styles in the Song dynasty and the Yuan dynasty. He also excelled in painting flowers,bamboo, stones and seal cutting.
