A native of Huaining,Anhui province,was a calligraphy of the Qing dynasty.His original second name was Yan,and Shiru by style name,then he changed his name to Shiru,and style name to Wanbo.His sobriquets were Wanbai shanren,Wan bai,Guhuan, Gu wanzi,youji daoren,Fenshui yuzhang and Longshan qiaozhang etc.He was
a populace.He loved seal cutting,and became a student of Shen Chun Academy.He studied seal script following "Two Li",blended with official script.He learned seal cutting following Han dynasty first then did some seal cutting.His seal cutting are said to come after calligraphy,and made a living by selling his seals.
