Weizhi by style name,Qieyuan by sobriquet,a native of Tieling,LiaoNing province,was a painter of the Qing dynasty. He excelled in painting flower-and-bird, beasts, human figures and landscapes, creating his fame by finger-painting. He had a work "Qieyuan poetry". The son of his nephew, Gao Bing, wrote a book "on Finger-painting", recording Gao Qipei's painting style and stories.
