The painter in the Qing Dynasty,a native of Changde, HuBei province. His style name was Jie Qiu and his sobriquets were Stone Taoist Monk,etc.He was a monk and was fond of traveling. Following the style of Wang Meng,his landscapes paintings executed dry strokes with dyeing light ink in the atmosphere of free and quiet. He was called as "Two Shi" with Shi Tao and was honored as the Four Great Masters of Monk in the early Qing Dynasty with Zhu Da, Hong Ren and Shi Tao.
