A native of Xuancheng, Anhui province,was a painter of the Qing dynasty.His style name was Yuangong, Qushan by sobriquet. He learned painting landscapes from Wang Meng, and created his unique style. He had traveled the Yellow Mountain for several times,and painted landscapes of it in a free and brilliant style. Shi Tao was influenced by him. He excelled in calligraphy and poetry, making works "Tian Yan Garret Collection" and "Mei Shi Anthology".
