The painter in the Qing Dynasty,a native of Shaoxing,ZheJiang province.His style name was Xiao Lou.First he studied painting under Ren Xiong and later studied under Ren Xun,he dwelled on Shanghai City at his middle year and made a living on selling his paintings.Following the style of Chen Hongshou and Hua Yan,he was talented in painting human figures,flower-and-bird and landscapes which executed in vivid appearance.He was called as "Four Ren" with Ren Xun,Ren Xiong and Ren Jin.They were the leaders of the "Hai Shang" school literati of painting.His daughter and his son were also talented in painting.
