A native of Wujin, JiangSu province,was a painter of the Qing dynasty. His style name was Ruoyi and Yusheng, Qing-ying monk and Zhouweng by sobriquets. He excelled in painting landscapes and ink plums with overflowing sensitivity. He and Dai Xi were called "Tang Dai" together.He was also talented in calligraphy, especially in running script.
