The painter in the Qing Dynasty,a native of Changsu, JiangSu province.His style name was and Shi Gu,and his sobriquets were Gengyan Sanren.First he studied paintings under Wang Jian and later he changed to study under Wang Shimin.He established his fame as a painter for painting "Emperor Kangxi's presence". He thought that his paintings executed ink of Yuan Dynasty's style, strokes of Tang Dynasty's style and atmosphere of Tang Dynasty. He was the founder of "Yu Shan" school literati of painting and was honored as the "Four Wang" with Wang Shimin, Wang Jian and Wang Yuanqi.
