Maojing by style name, Lutai, Shishi daoren by sobriquets, a native of Taicang, JiangSu province, was a painter of the Qing dynasty.He was the grandson of Wang Shimin. He was one of "The Four Wang" and "The Six Schools of The Qing Dynasty" of the early Qing dynasty. He excelled in painting landscapes, executed in strength, instructed by his grandfather, Wang Shimin, from his childhood, following Huang Gongwang. He was the Founder of "The Loudong Style". He was also talented in calligraphy, in a brilliant style, influenced by style of the Yuan dynasty. He was also skilled in poetry and prose.
