A native of Anji,ZheJiang province.His style name was Changshi and his sobriquets were Fou Lu,etc.He was dwelled in Shanghai city after his forty.After studying the style of Pu Hua and Zhao Zhiqian,his painting executed ancient atmosphere.He was the leader of the "Hai Shang School literati".He was also execlled in seal cutting.After synthesizing the merit of "Wan School Literati" and "Zhe School Literati",he created his own style.
