The painter and calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty,a native of Hangzhou, ZheJiang province. His style name was Tie Sheng and his sobriquets were Meng Taoist Monk,etc.He was talented in prose and calligraphy, especially excelled in painting landscapes which executed elegant and delicate strokes. His flower painting followed the style of Yun Shouping and his seal cutting followed the style of Qin and Han Dynasty. He was the outstanding representative of the "Zhe School Literati".
