The painter in the Qing Dynasty,a native of Wujin, JiangSu province.His style name was Shouping and his sobriquets were Nan Tian,etc.He made a living on selling his paintings.He was talented in painting landscapes,but later he gasped in admiration and Wang Hui's paintings and shamed to be the second master in the world,so he changed to paint flower.After studying the style of Xu Congsi, he fully demonstrated his preeminent talent for painting boneless flower which executed elegant and refined strokes. His style was called as "Hui" school literati of painting. He was honored as the Six Great Masters in the early Qing Dynasty.He was also excelled in calligraphy.
