Kerou by style name,Banqiao by sobriquet,a native of Xinghuan,JiangSu province,was a painter of the Qing dynasty.He enjoyed studying when he was a boy.He lived in Yangzhou for a long time,becoming a prominent painter at that time,counted as one of "The Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou".He excelled in painting orchids and bamboo,especially in ink bamboo.He blended semi-standard script with official script.His calligraphy was called "Liu Fen Ban Calligraphy"by himself.He was also talented in poetry and prose.
