The painter in the Qing Dynasty,a native of Nanchang, JiangXi province. His style name was Xue Ge and his sobriquets were Ge Shan,etc. After the Ming Dynasty fallen,he became a monk. Following the style of Dong Qichang,he was talented in painting flower-and-bird and landscapes which executed simple but elegant strokes. He was honored the Four Great Master of Monk in the Early Qing Dynasty with Shi Tao,Hong Ren and Kun Can. He was also excelled in calligraphy.
