The painter in the early Song Dynasty,a native of Changle county,ShanDong province. His style name was Xian Xi.He was talented in prose,history, playing the Qin and chess.He made a living on teaching Confucianism.He was excelled in painting landscapes, especially painting old trees and forest. After studying the style of Jing Hao and Guan Tong,he created his own style and new technique of painting. He was honored as "Three Great Style of Landscapes" with Guan Tong and Fan Kuan.His follower,Guo Xi,followed his style and was called as "Li Guo" with him.Their style gave considerable influence to later painters.
