The painter of the imperial Art Academy of the Southern Song Dynasty,a native of Meng county,HeNan province. His style name was Xi Gu.He fully demonstrated his preeminent talent for painting landscapes and human figures,he created new painting style of the southern Song Dynasty and was honored as one of the Four Great Masters in the southern Song Dynasty. His paintings expressed by precipitous composition with great momentum.
