The calligrapher in the Five Dynasties, a native of ShanXi province. His style name was Jingdu and his sobriquet was Yang Xu Bai,etc. After studying the style of Yan Zhenqing, he created his own style and became a great master.He was fond of visiting temple and monastery.When he met a woderful scene,he liked to write characters on wall as if there was no one else present,so he was called as "Madman Yang".
