::Canglang Ting

It is located in the south part of Suzhou city and an oldest existing gardening.It was a privated villa in the end of the Five Kingdom's ages and later on,it was ruined.Up to the Song dynasty,it was gained by a high rank official,Su Shun Qin who was dismissed without guilt and regarded himself as a fisherman in the sea.He perceived from the song by Qu Yuan(A Chinese famous poet in ancient time),so he built the garden in the name of Canglang(Wave of the sea).During a several hundred years,it was in rise and fell from time to time,but it was still kept on the style of the Song age's gardening.The garden did not allow the beaten track and an uncommon style has been made.The structure was object to the form of tall wall and deep yard,but around the garden,a clear water passed through it.And along the water,there was a complex pavilion linking with inside and outside scenes with leak-windows,and it created precedent for the other gardens to use the complex pavilion.There were a hundred and eight forms of leak-windows in the garden,which no one was identical.These leak-windows are exquisite and vivid,flying its own color.
